Ora il primo è un ufficiale nordista spedito nel New Mexico per eliminare il pericoloso capo indiano Sierra Charriba, mentre il secondo è soltanto uno dei tanti sudisti prigionieri. La situazione però è veramente dura e Dundee, in mancanza di uomini, fa un patto d’onore con i prigionieri (e con Tyreen) e li arruola nella caccia a Charriba…
