Per Terry trascorrere le vacanze estive nel parco divertimenti della nonna Mary era incredibile: grazie alla sua immaginazione, viaggiava in terre incantate e incontrava personaggi insoliti, alberi camminanti, palloncini parlanti, draghi pasticcioni e innumerevoli altre meraviglia. Con la scomparsa della nonna, però, il parco rischia la chiusura. Triste e sconsolato, grazie a una giostra magica Terry finisce in un regno incantato, molto diverso da quello dei racconti che era abituato a sentire…
